Entering a New Market In one month, The Home Depot went from not selling appliances online to being the #2 online seller of appliances in the world.

While under contract with the Carlson Marketing Group, Native Instinct’s team was responsible for the launch of the Appliances section of homedepot.com.

The Challenge:

The Home Depot wanted to begin selling appliances online. The customer buying process for "large-ticket" appliances is different than most other items sold on homedepot.com. The Home Depot wanted to make it easy for users to quickly filter through a large selection of appliances to locate the right appliance for them.

The Solution:

Native Instinct designed a multi-path interface that allows users to shop and sort by category, price, brand and other variables relevant to a particular appliance. We designed a custom checkout process that integrated directly with The Home Depot's fulfillment partner.

Results:

One month after launching, The Home Depot went from not selling appliances online to being the #2 online seller of appliances in the world.
